I find the reaction from people quite funny, ‘won’t you be lonely’ ‘oh I suppose you can make new friends while you’re there’ ‘you are brave’

Thanks Julie! Wow, you’re the real guru, solo travelling for years! I’ve only a few experiences with solo travels but it will only increase, I’m sure. The nervousness is definitely there at the beginning of trips, but the excitement kicks in soon enough and it only gets better! It’s such a luxury to explore places at our own pace.. a bliss!

I have been solo traveling for many years and I can resonate with all the points. #5 I have never felt lonely when I travel solo. I’ve met many people on the road and just as you mentioned I am nervous and excited, and exhilaration took over my nervousness and fear over time.
