]]>I wore slippers.. very casual, inexpensive ones while my girlfriend wore flip-flops like the Havaianas kind of flip-flops. I would recommend you get something easy to slip on and off and can be washed at the end of the day, because they’re going to get veryyy dirty! Don’t get pretty or bling-bling sandals or you’ll feel the ache.
As for exchanging currency, my local friend brought us to one inside a shopping mall in Yangon to exchange our Singapore dollar notes. He said you can probably change at the airport though the rates might be different. I suggest you google for travel bloggers who visit Myanmar often for more tips? Sorry I couldn’t provide better help on this!
