Hi Winnie, I went this temple a long time ago so I can’t rem the timings, but we had hired a day driver so we weren’t too worried as he would have planned and advised accordingly. This place to me felt more of like an open area instead of just a temple, though you still need pay an entrance charge + put on the sarongs. In fact, I don’t recall even entering the interior of a temple?!? Now that you mentioned, lol. Towards the left side of the cliff, there’ll be kecak performance and crowds which continue after sunset (I left and saw it was going on). So, if you’re hiring a driver, you can check with him.

Watch out for the monkeys there though, they’re notorious for snatching dangling, unguarded items.

Ubud to Uluwatu temple is about 2 hours a drive away.
